If you’re finding the best product on the market, it can be challenging to improve it; However, that is exactly what Clicgear did with his 3.5 push car. For about six years, I have been using a regular Click Cart for my golf rounds.
I would say that probably 90% of my rounds in a season are pushing a Clicgear cart. I started with the 1.0 model, and I had 2 of those that I liked so much, then I jumped directly to the 3.0 model, and I have almost a thousand miles in that car, and in 2013, I already have about 50 miles in the Click 3.5 car.
In our latest post of the best golf push carts, the 3.5+ model golf cart is the most expensive 3-wheel cart offered by Clicgear (so far). It has many bells and whistles, and if you have the money for it, you might wonder if this golf cart is worth it. Keep reading our review of model 3.5 of Clicgear!

Features of The Clicgear Model 3.5 Push Cart Review
This 3.5 golf cart comes in several colors. In fact, you can choose between 8 different shades! The one we are seeing here in our review of the Clicgear Model 3.5 golf cart is in Carbon / Orange.
You have the whole body in black, and very bright interiors, almost neon, orange on the wheels. And now, let’s analyze the performance factors of this cart.
Well, we’ve put together the Clicgear Model 3.5 push car review to help you find out!
Size and Setup
Clicgear originally became famous by creating a cart that folded smaller than anyone else’s, and this remains a hallmark of the product. As you can see in the image above, the Clicgear 3.5+ easily fits into the trunk of a medium-sized sedan with a staff bag and room for more. The official measures of 3.5+ when folded are 23″ x 15″ x 13″, or, significantly shorter than your putter.
The method of folding the Clicgear is not necessarily intuitive because it does not fold like any other car (if it did, it would not be smaller than the other cats, duh). That said, the moving parts are brightly colored, clearly labeled, and after setting it up once or twice, you will never have a problem again.
I will also mention for the first time, but not only that, everything related to the Clicgear cart is tight. Many pushcarts have weak hardware, but the Clicgear is designed to take a beating.
Wheels
If there were a more important feature to buy when buying a golf cart, it would easily be your wheels!
As for Clicgear 3.5+, it is a 3-wheeled vehicle that uses wheels equally proportioned to all 3. This allows more excellent stability on the ground, or in green, and is also easier to maneuver.
However, keep in mind that wheels like these are most excellent only for flat terrain.
But, the 3.5+ can also achieve steep terrain, and anyway, we don’t expect you to be climbing the hills on the golf course soon, so that’s fine, I guess. Another very important detail about these wheels is that they are not pneumatic!
This means that these wheels have no air and, therefore, do not require maintenance, since they are made of foam.
Storage & Accessories
Storage is one of the areas that was updated in Clicgear 3.5+, although it was already better than virtually any other push cart. The storage network is 80% larger, which is useful when you take a rangefinder, a camera, and a GoPro to the course.
Even if it is not a mobile media laboratory, it is a great place to throw keys, drinks, balls, etc. Clicgear has also increased the size of the cup holder, which is a great advantage for those of us who like our giant bottles of water. The console remains the same and with a good reason: it was already spacious and well designed.
You can add a seat to your cart, and address knob or show your GPS. Also, the way the accessories easily fit the accessory tabs in the location you prefer is great. There is no hardware involved, and you can configure the cart exactly the way you want. For this review, I added the XL cup holder, valuables bag/rangefinder, umbrella angle adjuster and gloves to my Clicgear 3.5+.
While the cup holder that comes standard in 3.5+ is large, the XL allows you to enlarge your drink and take it directly to the field. The Rangefinder bag is incredibly useful for those who love lasers or want their valuables to be stored more securely. The Umbrella Angle Adjuster is not only useful for maximum rain stop in the wind but also adds some additional free space for those of us six feet or more.
Finally, although I haven’t needed them in the field yet, the Mitts will undoubtedly make golf at the end of autumn much more enjoyable.
Heavy-duty frame
Let’s begin our review of the Clicgear Model 3.5 pushcart with the heavy-duty frame, which is the basis of many other benefits of this golf cart.
Clicgear boasts that the frame of this push carriage is made of aircraft-grade aluminum and scratch-resistant. Given the price that Clicgear asks, you can expect a long life from this golf cart.
Surprisingly, the 3.5+ model golf cart is as light as many other pushcarts on the market: it weighs about 18 pounds. This is far from being the lightest on the market, but it is very close to the weight of the cheapest and least durable push carts.

Foldable design
Clicgear addressed the folding aspect of this golf cart remarkably. The company calls the folding system of this push car “sliding to close.” What allows the folding mechanism of this push car is minimal input from you while the sliding parts do most of the work.
That said, the folding mechanism of the Model 3.5 + requires some time to get used to since it is different from what you can see in many other golf carts in the market. But once you master it, this golf cart may prove to be the most convenient golf cart you have ever used.
Adjustable bag mounts
The Clicgear 3.5+ model has two bag straps: one supports the shopping bag from the top and the other from the bottom.
The straps have clips that should allow secure fixation of the cart bag in place. Not only that, but you can adjust the straps of the backpack to accommodate larger or smaller bags.
Clicgear states that the Model 3.5+ can carry any bag size, which should be true since the Model 3.5+ is a full-size golf cart, but probably not the best for small and short bags.
Adjustable handle
The Clicgear Model 3.5+ golf cart also features a handle angle adjustment, which should allow most people, if not anyone, to operate the cart conveniently. If you are a tall or short golfer, this golf cart should be the right size for you.
Maintenance-free wheels
When it comes to ease of use, the Model 3.5+ is substantial, mainly thanks to its tires.
This push car has three airless tires that do not require maintenance from you, except for occasional cleaning. And, of course, having no air, the tires are puncture-proof.
Convenient handbrake
The Model 3.5+ golf cart also has a comfortable handbrake: when it is turned to its upper position, the brake holds the cart in place without user intervention. While hand brakes do not functionally different from the foot brake that is quite common in golf carts, many people prefer hand brakes to the foot brake, which may also be right for you.
Accessory mounts
For some people, accessory mounts may be the most exciting feature in the 3.5+ model golf cart.
The four accessory tabs could allow you to make the Model 3.5+ the ideal golf cart. Among the accessories you can mount on this thrust, the car is a seat, an XL cup holder, a steering knob, and a cooler bag.
That said, if you decide to buy additional accessories for this golf cart, you will have to spend much money: the Model 3.5+ is not cheap, for starters, much less with accessories.
But given all the other benefits we have covered in our Clicgear Model 3.5 pushcart review, this golf cart is worth it if you need your comfort.
Easy to use
Using Clicgear 3.5+ is a pleasure, not seriously.
Despite being made of aluminum tubes, it is very light on its own. The handle has a layer of foam and, therefore, is very comfortable to push and move.

Clicgear 3.5 Add Ons
Clicgear has done something very smart and made their cars modular. They have a wide range of accessories available that bind perfectly to their products and offer quite useful on the golf course.
I have gloves, a beverage cooler, and a shoe cleaner. Each of them has been quite useful throughout the season so far, and it is certainly something that distinguishes them from some of the other companies in this space.
Wrapping It Up
There is a wide variety of push cars to choose from in the market. You can go very cheap and probably get something that will be a bit complicated to deal with and that doesn’t last long.
After using your 3.5 model for four months, I can see why. This is a great push car that I highly recommend if you are someone looking to lighten the load on your back during around.

Clicgear Model 3.5+ Frequently Asked Question
Do the wheels on the Clicgear Model 3.5+ have ball bearings?
As far as our knowledge, no they don’t use ball-bearing wheels.
Does the front wheel have swivel mechanism to it?
No, it doesn’t. It is however still very easy to move, even without the swiveling wheel.
What’s the difference between Clicgear Model 3.0 and 3.5 push carts?
The 3.5+ model has some improvements over the previous 3.0 model. Among them are new bag belts, a storage network, a slightly deeper console, and a more durable braking system. Cart 3.0 is also discontinued, so you must opt for 3.5+ unless you have a specific reason for not doing so.
Can you adjust the height of the bag straps to accommodate shorter bags?
No, you cannot adjust the height of the bag straps. The recommended bag height for this golf cart is 33 inches and more. If you have a shorter bag, you can fix it only with the lower straps, but it will not be stable.
Does the front wheel in the Model 3.5+ push cart swivel?
No, it does not. However, the Model 3.5+ push car remains a very maneuverable push car, so the fixed position of the front wheel should not be a problem for you.
Can I add other accessories in this cart?
Yes, you can. A bunch of accessories comes with the cart already but if you want to add more, you have to purchase those from the Clicgear.
Does it come with an umbrella holder?
Yep. It features an umbrella holder where you can store most of the golf umbrellas. However, for regular umbrellas, this holder might not work fine.
Our Clicgear Model 3.5+ Golf Push Cart review is almost finished now. And through our findings, we can finally understand what makes it so popular.

(and don’t mind if I steal it? :P)
I just launched my site –also built-in WordPress like yours– but the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.
